Jonathan Knight qualified as a solicitor in October 2002 having completed his 2 year training contract with us. Born and brought up in the Rotherham area, he studied law at Sheffield Hallam University graduating with a 2:2 in 1998 before moving on to sit the Legal Practice course at Sheffield University which he passed at the first attempt in August 1999.

In the absence of a training contract Jonathan's career then took a slightly unusual turn as he became the wines and spirit's supervisor for the Chapletown branch of a large national supermarket chain.

As we at Tofields have a keen interest in all matters connected with wines and spirits, we had no difficulty at all in offering him a training contract in October 2000 on condition that he kept us tipped off about all bargains to be had.

On his qualification Jonathan moved into a position with our commercial property department.  He is single and lives near Rotherham. He enjoys long distance swimming (plenty of scope for that in Rotherham), cycling and hill walking. He also keeps us entertained by his enthusiastic gyrations at our office Christmas parties.
