The department provides advice and representation in all aspects of family law including :-

	Financial and property settlements
	Children issues - Residence/contact/maintenance
	Domestic Violence
	Child care
	Mediation
	Cohabitation agreements & disputes

If you need legal aid (now known as public funding) then we are only one of a handful of solicitors firms in the Sheffield area with a contract with the Legal Services Commission (LSC) to carry out family work. We also have a franchise from the LSC which means we have been specially approved and checked to meet certain standards and provide a quality service.

The department also has a family mediation unit known as FOCUS which has a contract with and franchise from the LSC.
