Alison Palmer, the partner in charge of our Corporate Services department, was born and brought up near Bolton in Lancashire. She sat her law degree at Sheffield University graduating in 1987 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) before going on to take her Solicitors final examinations in Manchester which she passed at the first attempt.

Having trained at another firm in Sheffield Alison moved to one of the large national solicitors practices where she obtained substantial experience in advising medium to large companies and businesses across a broad range of Company and Commercial matters.

Alison joined us in December 1998 and immediately became a valuable and well respected member of our team. Alison accepted an offer of partnership in the firm in May 2002.

She lives in Barnsley, South Yorkshire with her husband who is a GP at one of the area's largest medical practices, their two young children and their daughters budgie, Selina. She lists her interests as playing Tennis, gardening and going (grudgingly) to the Gym. Alison has also recently rediscovered her passion for the pianoforte, much to the bemusement of Selina.

Alison lets off steam at Bolton Wanderers where she has had a season ticket (probably the only season ticket) for many years.
